Help solve the murder of Lord Elpus!

Category: Team Building

Poor old Lord Elpus is dead!  Here’s what we know so far:

Lord Elpus is a wealthy wine merchant, who was due to attend a Wine Tasting session in a hotel last night.  When he failed to appear, staff forcibly entered his hotel room and discovered his body on the floor.

The police are not sure how he died but the following items were found on the scene:

  • Gun
  • Bread Knife
  • Half full glass of wine

Forensic tests have shown that the gun has not been fired within the last three months.  The fingerprints on the knife belong to the victim only, and the wine glass contains traces of a substance called Methiocarbs which can commonly be found in slug pellets.

How did he die?  Use the chat below to discuss and discover regular new updates.

Sabina recently received a letter from Lord Elpus demanding money in return for keeping quiet about the dodgy measures in her pub.. He then received an anonymous letter cut out of a gardening magazine telling him to leave her alone, or else!
